  1. I like what you do with the mechanical vs. normal pencil, allows for great detail and a clear outline. You really seem to know the uniforms and their details.

  2. Yeah, I find even drawing from a picture, it’s good to know all about the gear and uniforms because the details in the picture aren’t always clear, and it can be pretty easy to tell sometimes if the artist really knows what they’re drawing or not. And as in all the pictures I’ve seen that you’ve done so far, you do know a lot.

I dont know if youve tried to draw this, but drawing the 2nd flag raising on mt. surabachi is hard for me. I cant see alot of gear and the details but knowing what a canteen looks like or whatever helps.
      And thanks.

  3. I haven’t tried drawing that picture before, though I can if you want me to and we can compare what we see. Now that you mention it that would be an interesting one to draw, it is hard to see all the details.

  4. Hi there, sorry it’s been a while, I’ve had to put off my drawing of Mt. Suribachi but I plan to draw and post it before Friday; how did yours turn out? Also, if you want I can put a link to your blog website on my blog website so that might possibly help you get more visitors, not that I get that many but still. Also I do hope you post more work soon.

Ill upload the picture now. Its not the best one ive done but its something. Cant wait to see yours though.

  5. That’s good! I’ll put my comment under the picture though, I just wanted to say I’m finishing up mine and aim to post it tonight; is it alright if I mentioned why I did it and link to yours?
